Field Meeting : Toragy Point, Moruya Heads South

Toragy Point, Moruya Heads South

Walking Difficulty Grade 1/2 (Easy to moderate)

Approx. 2-3 kms.

A walk along Toragy Point Road, bitumen road and grassy headland with uneven terrain. Views from Toragy Point and walk to Shelly Beach.

What we might see

Headland with vegetation and open areas. White-bellied Sea-eagle, Pied and Sooty Oystercatchers, White-fronted Tern, Little Pied Cormorant, Great Cormorant, Variegated Fairy-wren, New Holland Honeyeater, Golden Whistler, albatross and other seabirds, seals and whales.

Meet on the grassy area near the intersection of Coronation Drive and Shelly Beach Road, Moruya Heads.
