Field Meeting : Bingie Dreaming Track, Congo

Bingie Dreaming Track

Walking Difficulty Grade 2 (Moderate)

Approx. 2km.

Unsealed bush track with narrow sections and trip hazards.

What we might see

A walk through Bangalay Forest to the coast with views of the ocean and Meringo Lagoon. Red and Little Wattlebird, New Holland Honeyeater, Leaden Flycatcher, Olive-backed Oriole, Rufous Fantail, Scarlet Honeyeater, Common Cicadabird, Brown Gerygone, Eastern Shrike-tit and water birds.

Where we meet

Meet at the northern point of the track, in the car park just off Congo Road, at the southern end of Congo village. Please note that access to Congo is via Bingie Road.
