Field Meeting : Gulaga Back Track

Walking Difficulty Grade 3 (Strenuous)

Approx 3-4km.

Unsealed forest track with moderate to steep sections.

What we might see

Wet sclerophyll forest which provides habitat for Wonga Pigeon, Large-billed Scrubwren, Pilotbird, Superb Lyrebird, White-throated and Red-browed Treecreeper, Scarlet Robin, Bassian Thrush, Red-browed Finch, Golden and Olive Whistler and possibly Noisy Pitta. 

Where we meet

Meet at the carpark near Tilba Dairy, 37 Bate Street, Central Tilba. We will then drive along the Punkalla-Tilba Rd which is a good dirt road.
