Observation Recording and Identification

iNaturalist

iNaturalist is a flora and fauna observation recording and identification web site. In addition to recording your own observations you can explore the iNaturalist database for all observations of a particular species in any other region of the world. The site is moderated by experts in each field who verify the identification of the observations, often down to species level. Most observations include photographs which can assist with identifying your own observations. The site also utililises an artificial intelligence engine to suggest the possible identification of observations.
