ENHS on Facebook

iNaturalist

iNaturalist is a flora and fauna observation recording and identification web site. In addition to recording your own observations you can explore the iNaturalist database for all observations of a particular species in any other region of the world. The site is moderated by experts in each field who verify the identification of the observations, often down to species level. Most observations include photographs which can assist with identifying your own observations. The site also utililises an artificial intelligence engine to suggest the possible identification of observations.

South Coast Nature Map

A locally developed and hosted flora and fauna observation recording site that is a valuable resource.

Birdata

Birdata is an Australian bird observation recording web site managed by BirdLife Australia. In addition to recording your own observations you can explore the eBird database for observations recorded in a particular region.

eBird

eBird is a bird observation recording web site hosted by the CornellLab of Ornithology. In addition to recording your own observations you can explore the eBird database for observations in a particular region. Bird watching hotspots can also be identified using the eBird mapping feature.

BirdNet

The CornellLab of Ornithology have created a Smart Phone App that ustilises artificial intelligence to identify bird calls. The App is available from the Apple App Store and Google Play.

xeno-canto

xeno-canto is a web based, searchable, collection of bird call recordings that can assist with the identification of bird calls.
