Field Meeting : Meringo, Bingie

Pyramid Rock, Meringo

Walking Difficulty Grade 2 (Moderate)

Approx. 2-3 km

Bush tracks with moderate slopes with the option of walking along a hind dune track and along the sand to the lake.

What we might see

Coastal forest and headland walks. Brown Gerygone, Striated Thornbill, Little Wattlebird, Double-banded Plover, White-bellied Sea-Eagle and other raptors, as well as seabirds, Australasian Gannet, Greater Crested Tern, White-fronted Tern.

Where we meet

Meet at the Bingie turnoff, intersection of Princes Hwy and Bingie Rd.
