Field Meeting : Barlings Swamp and Bevian Road

Barlings Swamp, Bevian Road

Walking Difficulty Grade 2 (Moderate)

Rough track with some unmade sections.

What we might see

The swamp is home to a number of duck and waterfowl species, including the possibility of Blue-billed Duck, Swamp Harrier, Australian Hobby. The walk along Bevian Rd: Mistletoebird, various thornbills, Striated Thornbill, Brown Gerygone, Varied Sittella.

Where we meet

Meet at the corner of George Bass Drive and Bevian Road, next to Barlings Swamp.
