The bush was beautiful and the steam rose from a log.

The lake was clear and blue but not a lot of birds.

There were some birds that wanted to be photographed but the others were shy.

Painted Honeyeater

Report of 2 Painted Honeyeater with migrating Yellow-faced and White-naped Honeyeater at Batemans Bay this morning, from Dimitris Bertzeletos.

Brou Lake Field Trip 11 March 2017

There were binoculars, monoculars and telescopes. All wielded by determined people. No bird escaped on this trip.

If you look closely at this bird on the left you will see it is not sitting but it is ………….

Mystery Bay Field Trip 26 February 2017

Mandy led the trip.

The first thing we saw was the Monarch Butterfly which would have pleased Dave. The Cowboy Beetle was at the end of the trip and the fly somewhere in between.

January was hot and these Bower Birds seemed to enjoy the water put out for them and others.
