Butterfly in Mystery Bay

  Ann Christiansen photographed this Blue Tiger butterfly in Mystery Bay.  Unfortunately it was dead.  Neither of us has seen this species before.

This Glasswing butterfly was seen at Pedro Swamp in January.  I have looked through past records and it seems that the species has not been previously reported in the Eurobodalla.

The rain has been great for the weeds and this Scotch Thistle attracted a beautiful butterfly.
